I have just looked at the site of netquartz - the developers of the f***ing security software that keeps the trial from working.

Seems like we just need an original freelancer.exe of the free demo!!

Maybe even an .exe from someone who has onced started the demo will work - depend on wether the software requires to be connect to the internet just once or every time you start the demo.

If it is just once, maybe someone could provide the exe anywhere?!?!

It's killing me to see the # of d/l's for Freelancer 'exclusive' demo on FP.

Bamboo sticks under the fingernails is easier to cope with.

Let's look at the bright side: every paying fileplanet subscriber who is downloading the demo is a potential paying customer for the real thing. Perhaps Freelancer really will revive the space genre after all.

Anyone know why my filefront DL gets to 96 percent and freezes up?
