I am so misunderstood.... Where to begin...oh ya
(duh, not everyone is lucky enough to be in the cloistered group of snobby beta testers).
Have to made any attempt to become a beta tester? Do you know if you're qulaified? Have you looked into the steps to become one? Do you know every single beta tester personally well enough to make a judgement call like that? Wow, you must really get around.

In the xp prob thread, he automatically assumed i was using a warez version of XP and that i somehow deserved to have bad things happen to me, just because i recommended against getting sp1 (the piracy patch). In fact i was recommending against it because it causes alot of people alot of probs on thier computers.
The facts (6 or 7 months ago when SP1 first hit the market ) do in fact support your theory, but in today environment, it simply is no longer the case. Proven, documented, verified, case closed. The truth is SP1 does look for pirated versions of WinXP and most likely the famous version most people have is the corporate version of Win XP Pro that made it's way around the internet. That is the PRIMARY reason these days people do not have SP1 installed. There is no other logical reason anymore. Simply put, if you have a
registered - activated copy of WinXP and you take an active role in keeping it updated you have FAR less problems that those that choose not to practice this. And if you do have a
registered - actviated copy of WinXP and you're not keeping it updated, or you have an "acquired" version then shame on you. Complain department is in the rear.
