I think I would have more sympathy for the Outcasts. Afterall, their planetfall changed them genetically and thus be forced to use cardamine. The fact that cardamine gives you the extreme feeling of happiness and well being can't be helped I can see marijuana treated that way....

However I can see that perhaps because Cardamine is in their genetics it doesn't give them the high it gives the "normies."

i would go with Corsairs because i hail from Greece. Their planet is called Crete(Greece's biggest island) and their shipyard is Tripoli Shipyard(I was born in Tripoli. Very small town). I would leave them the way they are, Greek people like criminality, and if they were like zoners, i would still befriend them.

I will go with the outcasts although i hail from greece too.
Corsairs customs are a bit too spartan for me. Just think that they ate their elders to survive and they kill 30% of their kids .

Of course if you visit hackers and rogues bases and read the news you can see that outcasts behaviour is not the best either.

I prefer the Outcasts. Not entirely sure why, probably I like their weapons more than Corsair ones. Although the Tizona is good. Other than that, it's probably because their home system looks pretty. And they do Cardamine

The problem with the Outcasts is that they want everyone in the Sirius system to share their own health problem ... total dependence on Cardamine or they die! The Corsairs, on the other hand, are simply pirates. It would be as if the Outcasts were living nowadays and wanted to infect everyone on earth with HIV, so that they could sell them medicine to keep it from developing into fatal Aids.

p.s. I'm puzzled why the survivors of the Hispania chose such un-Hispanic names. The Kusari, Bretonians, Rheinlanders and Libertarians or whatever you'd call them use the names from their old home countries. The Hispania survivors simply do not. Crete? Malta? What gives???

um, I don't think the Hisania hails from Mexico. I think it is from Spain, in Europe. Those are European city and country names.

Actually, Crete and Malta are both islands in the Mediterreanean Sea. Malta is pretty tiny compare to Crete.

if i had to choose...well....i'd go with Corsairs because even though i am from the U.S. i like where they put the Hispania Sleeper ship location, i can just go mine things go to Crete, go back to mine, back to Crete, back and forth all day long.

There are other "peculiarities" ... e.g. the Kusari have Planet Kurile. Just why would they give their planet the Russian name for the Chishima Islands???
Maybe somebody at Digital Anvil just didn't feel like taking the time to find things out.

I think kurille islands was a reason of conflict between russia and japan, belong to russia but japanese always wanted to put it under their feet

-and yes Blood Dragons only have 1 active and 1 abandoned bases, you can also get BD missions from golden C base "ainu depot" i think its the name (although killing kusari police ships using a titan is like trying to kill mosquitos with a cannon)

The outcasts, because they were doomed to go down with hispania while the cossairs fled. Don't change a bit, forward facing turrents on Sabres are awesome. --- VH16
