The Horus? I don't remember that but if you want my word i think the sabre is the best ship(its an outcast ship and can be found on planet Malta in Omicron Alpha). Make sure your on good terms with the outcasts first or else they'll tear you apart.

During the 1950's Korean Air War, people said that the UN kill to Death ratio of... 1 F86 Sabre to 10 MiG 15's, was down to the capabilities of the the F86 Sabre.

Chuck Yeager said this was nonsense, he actually said it's 'the pilot not the plane'.
He proved this by taking a captured MiG 15 up against his C/o who was in a F86 Sabre. Yeager stuck to his commanders tail throughout the simulated dogfight, the C/o couldn't shake Yeager off.

I was trying to give a real life example that demonstrated, that just because one person thinks a certain ship is the best, that doesn't mean it actually is.
At the end of the day, as Steel said, it's whatever you enjoy flying the best.

I looked at the Titan and Sabre, and they both have 6 guns/1 turret, with an 8/10 power rating. They also have the same amount of cargo space. So why do so many people prefer the Sabre? The Titan has the same, plus more armor. Just curious.

The Sabre has more firepower, with a foward facing turret. The Titan has more aromor, a rear firng turret, and as many people say 'flies like a cow.'

This thread is about comparring a modded ship to unmodded ones? bit one sided there! anyway when will people learn there isnt a "best" ship in the game.
I tell you what, you have a titan and i will have a dromadery. Now lets fill our holds with dimonds and go to new tokyo. Who wins? i thought so.
But if your sayig best "fighter" now there something diffrent, but it still doesnt matter a great deal with the three top runners. It about skill of the person. If a really crud guy flew a sabre and a really ace guy flew a banshee, that can very easliy change the odds.

Anyway, I enjoy flying LF's. Patriot, Drake, Hawk, all fast and agile and the Drake is able to kick some serious VHF butt, if you got the time anyway

I agree with Steel and Hengist, it all depends on what suits you better.
