Who knows, maybe DA is working on it but is just keeping silent for now until they have something solid to show us.

Consider some of the character's lines at the end of the storyline:
"They're gone, but they're not beaten"
"Perhaps with the gate open we can take the fight to them"
"We'll be ready for them next time"
"this was only round one. They know we're here now. They'll be back"
This doesn't mean that there will be a sequel, but it sure leaves open the possibilities.

Anyway, why is everyone so anxious for a sequel? The game's not THAT old. I mean, Starlancererers had to wait for 5 years for Freelancer, and Freelancererers can't wait 5 minutes? (Or a year. Close enough
)
