Who''s around the longest and still playing FL

Just like the title:

Who here is playing FL since spring last year and still here?

I started playing somewhere in April and joined this site 4th of June (Independance day?).
Actually, I was around for a while but I posted my first reply this day.

You were gone?

Edit: Damn spelling.

Found the demo in March and got the game on import in April and have been playing it since, so about the same

I bought the game a month after it came out. I usually try the demos first before I buy the actual game. I still play it every once in a while. I'm preoccupied with other games too.

I thought i'd quote this from the Off-Topic forum.

An important note to all:

It is understandable that sometimes you want to change your username due to specific circumstances or a specific reason. However, it has come to our attention that several usernames have been changed recently at a disturbing pace and obviously without a justified reason. Despite the fact that we have already made several requests about this matter, it has caused little to no effect and the changes endure.

Therefore for the last time, we urge you to respect TLR's wish to not regularly change your username, but to stay with the one you initially chose, unless you have a very essential and legitimate reason to do so.

In conclusion we want to state that we are forced to take more extreme measures if our request keeps getting disregarded.

Thank you for your cooperation.

@Neo: My new name bothers you?

Anyway, you still know it's me right. It would be different if I would change my name to Fluffy or something

I started playing it the month before it was released in the UK, and for some crazy reason I'm still playing it now?

I didn't find the game until around the beginning of May, and then sort of by accident. I always look for Elite and Privateer type game, but usually am disappointed in what I find. I took FL home, fell for it immediately -- and soon had to buy ANOTHER copy because I showed it to a friend, who borrowed it and was so tied up playing it that he wouldn't return the #&@@# thing to me!!!

Well I got this game in April even though I had it on order at Amazon.com since the summer of the year before. I think I registered with TLR in late April but am not highly ranked because I post reasonably. I did start my server in early May when I converted my Linux test 'puter in a change of pursuits, intellectual to entertainment. Although I was down for 4 weeks in June (on vacation and pre-patch) and haven't had any real server popularity until Elite said they were disappearing (Stinger ), we are still around. Of course I still play FL.

I'm looking to hang in there until FL2. Then, maybe , they will let people like me in on the secret before everyone else because of our dedication. Who knows? I'm still having fun...

I got it about a month or so after it was released (would have pre-ordered it, but I had no $money$.), and I've been on it about ten hours a week since. That is one brilliant game. Also absololutely KICK-ASS mods. Great online community too.

A guy gave me the demo in april after buying it himself, and I then went and bought it too. FL got boring for a little while, but now I'm on a mod team, so it's fun again. Except for bugs

I first got the game in May (beginning of) during the half term (Teacher - NOT pupil ), and after a weeks non stop playing, i really realised how much i valued my own free time to do as i wanted, and really begrudged the fact that for the past 6 months i spent 80hours a week doing school stuff, and lesson plans and more............so i quit. from that point on, i played FL for nearly all day every day.......i was severely addicted. I still play a bit, but NOTHING like i used to. Play about once a week or so.
