I sometimes load it up, and I got it right when it came out (the demo impressed me quite a bit, I was a little nervous before that).

I haven't fully explored all the areas yet, but then again, I barely play it. Was curious what people who play it consistently spend their time doing? Mods? Trading? What keeps you going?

Tried multiplayer with some friends but it didn't click for some reason.

I try different ships, try different sides, just explore. I try to find things on my own and not look them up on the spoiler forum. I am still missing a few jump holes. Haven't found everything yet.

I still pop out to a server or two every now and again. I replay that last mission in SP mode too, for some reason I like that view during the end of the game.

Shhhh....

As I look into my crystal ball, I can see the Elite server being resurrected from the dead bigger and better than before.

I originally heard of freelancer from an ad box in electronics Boutique, immeditatly dled the demo, repeatedly played the demo, then got the game the first week it came out. Had gotten star lancer the week it was released also

Anyways, have been playing freelancer since it's release, though not actually "playing" it much anymore as much as modding it. Spend much more time in the .ini's then in game now, but it's still freelancer

Hi Guys

I honostly must be the record holder, not being one of the devs. I tried out FL way before the betatest, and was seriously engaged during testing - though not as much as for instance Stinger - he had AFAIR over 200 hours played BEFORE the game was released... LOL...

And we are still here, aren't we?

@Barbig, nice to see you lurking the forums today.
It must be nice to be able to get the game well before the release to the public. How much of it changed in concept from the first version you played to the final released version? That question goes to Stinger also if you get this.
