What I like about the mouse flight is that I have never suddenly had the mouse go haywire, the way a joystick may do right when you most need it! No calibration probs wif a mouse.

I've heard some people who use some funky shaped mouses have a harder time with it as the game play is more meant for the fluid movements of a normal mouse on a surface.

Has anybody had to change their mouse to play Freelancer? If so, what type did you have that just didn't work as well?
