It recreates the geography of the death star.

Meaning its all one big flat ball with turrents and such.

Just goes on forever and ever.

Has anyone else happened to notice the suspicious similarity between the cruiser main gun and the death star superlaser? What about just making it a lot bigger? It even has a built in limitation, it only shoots straight ahead. How fast do you think a death star could turn, hmm?

Heretic, that is a very good idea.

I suspect it would normally be murder in terms of lag, but that's not to say it couldn't be done. With some proper tweaking of LOD ranges, and maybe treating each peice as a seperate entity?

That would make for one hell of an exciting flight.

In answer to the original question of the post (Can somene make me a death star?): Yes. Someone *could*. I believe that answers the question to the letter.

IMHO, it's bascically bad idea - I can bet that actual mod will be made by some rebel modders in such a wicked way, that they can destroy DS over and over again. Sorry, but your suggestion is an outright provocation and it's exposing you as traitor and rebel agent.
