Deleted scenes???

Can anyone tell me what this is?

I saw it on this site, on the top right of the main page, It said something like "Unknown characters"
I'd like to know if this is a deleted scene or whatever.
So, Anyone?

It's a deleted cutscene. Looks like when that thief dude stole the artifact from Sinclair, perhaps. You can see a little bit of it during a trailer from IGF 2002 or something.

I found it on this page, so I guess it's not one made by a hobbyist.

That's not Sinclair, she no redhead. and the artifact looks different from the one used in the game. And it can't be the guy that was killed on Manhattan in mission 4, though I'm not realy sure about that, 'cause you can't see wether he has a scar or not.

Btw, where is that trailer?

Should be in the downloads section, it will probably be on the very last page.

Too bad they didn't include it in the release.

Definitely looks like an early version -- an artist's drawing when they were developing the story line. The resemblance to the thief and Sinclair is quite obvious. But the artifact looks totally different.

Somebody probably realised that there weren't many black folks in the game and decided to turn Dr Sinclair into one. (If you've seen the first Star Wars, there are no black characters. I've heard there were complaints about it, so in part II they added Billy Dee Williams.)

While I love the game, and I don't mean to make this sound like I am bashing MS....because I am not...

The original story line that Chris Roberts came up with looked much better....Once he left...and MS took over DA....They seem to have revamped it so it will work properly on the X-Box with very few changes....That's the only part I am not happy with.

They apparantly wanted to keep it on 1 CD, so the X-Box won't have problems with it...From what I gather...Chris Robert's version was going to be 2 or more.

Does anyone know what the old plot would have been?

I sort of wondered why it was only one CD. Hardly any games nowadays are less than 2 CDs, most 3 or 4. Cutting the game down may explain why the story line sort of goes up in smoke after the Nomads are sent packing. I'd love to know how much was left out to make it fit.
