freelancer without the disc

just use a cdclone program..in my country its legal to make backups of your games idont know about the rest of the world.

i use i prog from farstone called virtual cd,its really nice..maybe i bit pricy
but playing games without the cd spin noise..priceless

As long as your cdrom or dvd rom can still read the disc then you could copy the entire disc to your hd and install the game from the setup/install file in the copied folder. this way it should run faster as your then using your hd which is obviously quicker than your cd drive.
I have'nt tried this yet but i know it works with other games like deus ex and op/ flashpoint.
