Try searching for a CD crack. Otherwise, no.

Sometimes game companies will allow you to replace a disc for a small fee. You just have to send the original in, so they know you don't have it anymore.

It seems that a lot of CDs get scratched. Mine did and a friend of mind had his scratched as well.

Guys, no links to crack sites.

If you are looking for a no-cd patch just tell me where to upload it to. I hexed the executable so it would work. Let me know and I will send it tonight when I get home from work.

Logic...

Barring a freelancer.exe crack, you could just buy a Game Doctor...not only do you fix Freelancer, but all yer other pooched CDs as well. I've effectively repaired well over $500 worth of CDs with mine

Personally, I love no-CD patches. I DO buy the games, but I'm a lazy SOB and hate having to switch CD's before playing a new game (then holding down the shift key until they stop reading.) I much prefer being able to just double click an icon and go. More than anything, I hate when I forget which game I currently have in the drive and try to start the wrong game. First you have to wait for the game to load and check the drive. Then you get the "CD not found" error. So then you have to find the right CD, find the old CD case, switch 'em out, yada, yada. I just wanna play, what's with all the hassle???

the hassle is they're against the rules here. arguing over them isn't going to do anything.

Arguing? Who's arguing?
