CineFX will suffer the destiny of 3DFX Glide, S3Metal, and such... It will be supported, but as a secondary... OpenGL and Direct 3D are the only two standards that have a guaranteed support now and in the future as well. It cannot hurt to have a card that provides additional FX, but it cannot hurt not to have it either. All in all, good call logic. You live up to your name...
