--New systems, planets, bases and wrecks.
--Alien wrecks.
--Multi-system missions (after the story mission). Maybe it's already there, but I haven't seen it. Example: You're in system 1, go two systems over and kill or capture someone. Don't get killed or scanned on the way back.
--The ability to go into hosile bases in some cases. But don't get recognized or captured while you're there. Then maybe sabotage the base a little (on a mission).
--Detective mission/manhunts. Example: "We don't know exactly where 'criminal X' is, although we're pretty sure he's in Liberty space (for example). Go to different bases, talk to people and track him down, then capture or kill him."
--More ships, weapons and equiptment. I really like the idea about different engines. Maybe with different cruising speeds and durability.
--Spy insertion/extraction missions. Similar to smuggling. If you're scanned, you're screwed.
--More stuff to do on planets. At least a new room or two.
