freeport4, i have friendly or nuetrel faction with everyone in liberty, and plenty of transport traffic to plunder on it's way thru.
nothing like hitting a train with engine components and getting 3 full humpbacks full of them. sell at 1350 each at freeport4.
pick the containers off the trains like apples off of trees.

I'd take cadiz base in omega 5 where I have hessians to blast all day and loot, then take lane hacking trips to omega3 for my goods and of course there's cambridge right next door for h-fuel along with access to omega 41 and omega11 right beside me too. dunno what it is about omega5 but I just love it!

Somehow I can't attach myself to New York as I did to Troy in Privateer 1...
My choice would probably be that Spa & Cruise planet, what is it called again? Curacao I think?

I'd take a heavilly fortified base in an asteroid field somewhere where there's no radiation...and unlike the stupid Mollys...NOT surround my base with mines.

Pittsburgh.
Why?
*Because it's got more of a frontier feel than most of the borderworlds planets do.
*Because it looks like Mars.
*Because I have literally run every person on the planet out of rumors.
Alternately, the Battleship Missouri.
Why?
*Because it looks so frickin awesome.
*Because it has the same name as an Iowa class battleship, my favorite ship class.
* Because I have run everyone on the ship out of rumors, just like Pittsburgh.
Every gun, component, missile launcher, or ammo I don't want gets sold at one of those two places. Any cargo tractored off dead enemies in Liberty space goes to those two places. When I go to save and exit for the day, I do it in one of those two places, even if I'm all the way out in the Omicron systems.
Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless
