Athalon 750
256k Ram
Voodo 5500 AGP 4 chip video card (w upgrade 3rd party drivers overclocked 25%)
Soundblaster Live+
Kinyo w-Sub woofer
19" Komodo Monitor
Win98
I think it is great this game works on these older systems as some of the newer games don't even try to address the fact that some of us like the Voodo cards. I have run some games that should have bogged like crazy. Blade of Darkeness being one of them. But this old girl still has the snot to do the job it's just too bad the game designers don't feel the need to support the card anymore. I hate getting the message that there are know issues with the Voodo cards or that the game will not run with it at all. I am thinking sometime this late summer I will have to upgrade the system to something newer and give my wife this one as she still has a 266 she is using for just everyday stuff. LOL

I run the game at 1280x960 32bit and I only play multiplayer, barely ever lags and mind you I'm on a 56k here, I'd say it's pretty well synchronized for net play.

"Yeah hello[! I'd like to report this taxi driver.."
"And his name is?"
"Jam.. the symbol for Boron.. and a weird q surrounded by dots.."
"You sure it was Boron and not manganese?"
"Ofcourse I'm sure, I had the periodic chart with me at the time.." -.-

1600x1200x32Bit@75 + Max = Perfect under all conditions/scenes/firefights. When I say MAX this includes editing the config file for the game and enabling
all of the (WTF!) disabled features such as specular highlights, compression, space lighting, cube mappingand etc that weren't applied in the game even when max settings were chosen in the interface. When I first played it looked nice but seemed to be lacking the real visual impact I was expecting. The result of turning on all of these features makes the game take on new life. Really impressed with the visual quality in this thing. I assume they disabled these so it would run on the widest-possible variation of configs emphazing compat with low-end rigs.

Edited: Forgot to include memory timings/qual modes. Critical for total reference.
