I have pretty much everything turned down except for minor space detail (no detail results in space being starless/backgroundless) and minor effect detail(so I can actually see weapons fire and whatnot). Only have problems with lag when there are enough enemies to make my list scroll

to mattxr: Win 98 BEST???? WHAT???? I know from experience that it is much more error prone and hard to work with than XP, at least for me.
