does it ?
The problem I have with Win 2k is that many older programs (i.e., made in 2000 or earlier) erroneously identify it as Win NT 4.0 and refuse to run.
I'm sticking to Win 98 SE until M$ stops supporting it. I have yet to come across new software that won't run on 98 SE, while my XP-using friends have problems running all sorts of games.

Running Win2K here. FL is solid, no CTDs, no nothing.
I've never had a compatibility problem with Win2K either for games written before 2000. Some gamers forget to do this and perhaps this is why, but there is a compatibility update one must download from Microsoft for Win2K if one wants to run games written for Win95/98.
Heck, with an MS-DOS boot disk I can still play DOS-based games like Privateer 1 (as long as I have a partition on my HD formatted in FAT).

hehe, i recently installed win98 on my 2nd harddrive (additionally to winXP), and about 10 minutes after the installation i encountered my first bluescreen
yet for games, win98 has no flaws.
i only installed it again so that i could use my old gravis firebird joystick, which isnt supported by winXP anymore.
(hell, 7 years old and still works like a charm!!)
