No dont make the photon and quantum torps take ammo. Just make then cost 500k or more photon are energy and shouldnt use ammo

uhmmmm, no - cause Photon torpedos are materia / antimateria contact explosion weapons

All and everything you have fixed here seems fine and about right, exept ammo taking cargo space. This I have seen in some other mods, and it's not right. Who's gonna drag the ammo from the hold and out to the weapons? All wepons we know have a small ammo compartment, very limited, and therefor we have to be careful with this ammo.

Now, torpedoes and/or missiles are both launcher and ammo. When we buy a torpedo we get say 5 shots per weapon, 4 torpedoes= 20 shots. This way we have to be careful with what we use these valuable weapons on. Dogfighting should be guns only, and there's no need for using torpedoes in a dogfight. We have all the great guns for this purpose. I know the original game had this ammo thing, but that doesn't make it right.

You can find the Earth system jump hole in the lower center of the nav map in the Dublin system.

Btw, if you are going for a Star Fleet ship you'd better bring lots of cash...

Cash isn't a problem it's max level. I been able to get mine to 40 but it will not go any higher. Thx for the locall.

No prob... I would suggest the Defiant if your goin for a fighter type. The bigger ones manuever like cap ships. You can find this bad boy in Jupiter at the Kassel station. Its owned by the Hessians so make sure your on good terms with them.

But I didnt see taht ammo would take space You need to change this because a reason I hate the Free-Worlds mod is because ammo takes space and you cant trade because you want a load of torps.

thx again ..damn i hate the hessians..oh well ..hey what level are you at? do you know how i can increase mine in addition to what Chips suggested. I am at level 40 now i have over $8 mil.

Hi all It was brought to my attention that some people are using the microsoft 1.1 server patch on thier Freelancer client game, This patch was designed for a server only and could be the reason people are being kicked for buying large ships, as the price of the ship excedes what microsoft has set to be recognized as a cheat. Hope this info helps somebody

hi all,

thx for those tips like flpatchv1.1 for the client side. I was near to release the bugfix-2 then i found a big bang in Hiagara and some where else, if that isn´t fixed you won´t get it, sry. Well anyway i do my best.
