hey all,
I don't want to a pain in the arse and over-post this problem, but i've had it up for a couple of weeks now without reply...

does ANYONE know how to fix the bug in WTS where the custom ships either appear with only white textures/skins, or have no textures what-so-ever?

The bug happens with ALL ships that weren't in the original FL game, in any system, and on MP and SP.
And yes i have clean reinstalled FL, SDK, and WTS 2.1 and the 2.2 patch.

Any help with this will be very much appreciated!!!

(It's not much fun trying to shoot someone in multiplayer when all you can see is someone's mounted weapons and equipment.....)

Sounds like u have your preformance set low in setup...i use to have that problem..and then i changed the preformance to full..now i see all ships.

If not that, maybe there is a update for your grafic card out there.

First, I have to tell you that your Mod is the greatest I played. Wonderfull !!! Thank you !!!

I have a problem : I can play your mod in single player and in MP when I log to an Internet server. But I would like to play in MP on my personal lan. I can start FLServer, I can start Freelancer (with WTS mod) and I can begin to play. But when I reach space, the FLServer crash. Anyone can help me about this ?

Another question : there are some ships that require a character level like 40, 50 and 60. But my character reached the level 38 (the max) and cannot progress. What I have to do to modify that ?

We've tried -

Tng 1.7 - that was great !
Evolution - It was fine
Clanwars - Now that was Rockin' !
WTS - Now this is stable and Fun and Rockin' the House !
And we've also alpha + beta test some wonderfull mods or suggestions for freelancer (but as clause explain not allowed to discuss about them)

Phantom bug fix...

I managed to get the custom ship skins back - I did a clean install of FL, SDK, and WTS - but it was updating my gfx card that did the trick (credit to snake a few posts up).

(and yes my detail was set on the highest...)

Hey I can't find IFSO files for the WTS v2.2, I know things were changed since the 2.0 & I have those files. But alot of my characters now have UNKNOWN equip since I don't have those updated files. It's hard to monitor for cheaters and change files. Does anyone know if these are out, or when they will be? Thanks a bunch I love this mod!!

i was on a private server i set up for myself to go around and try all the ships and when i bought the enterpise 1701e, my ship, weapons, and equipment disappered. i was using ioncross with the ifso files for the wts 2.0 mod to go around to the different ship locations and get money to buy them.

For those with the spark of genius,
There are hundreds more with ignition trouble.

hey i was just wonder in version 2.3 if you people know that half the ships dont have bases nor some of the equipment. thanks

Got couple questions.

1. Some of the ships from 2.2 are gone like Ravenclawn ship and couple others .

I did a search on the Merchant-Ship file and couldn't locate the missing ships..

2. Some thrusts on ships only show one effect on 2 engine or 3 engine ships.

3. Besides that mod is awsome and blows TNG out the water and doesnt altar your FL files to point were you have to reinstall the game to play other mods not to talk about one other mod..

Little ideal, maybe do something with Uknow areas the pink one and the one with Nomad Liar and DecinSphere areas.
Get some more Star Wars and B 5 ships that will rock..

we've found a way to get the money flowing -
If you stay close to a fleet like in colorado Pueblo base
juste beem the weaponds that the fleet left when they
killed a npc - with that trade in for cash make a whoopy million or more -
so for those who think it's harder ... take another stategy
to start - explore!

sry folks to bother you but have to change the looting in the near future cause makes you all to rich ppl. Some small other changes will come in time too. Also we have a prob with the maid cause she unplugged the server and the admin near the hardware is on vacation hopefully we'll be back on Monday next week.

Also i'm working on all the activation files for the clanships which will be available soon for the clanleaders.
