What do you mean?? I installed it with FLMM. Wat do you mean over the oringanal game?? Isnt that what mods do?

Post Sat Jul 02, 2005 9:54 am

To: Beta-5

1. Open FLMM
2. Deactivete all mods by using the Ctrl+R combonation
3. Uninstall Freelancer and FLMM + Delete all the mods when asked by the uninstaller
4. Delete all remaining files and folders of the game and program
5. Install them again

This should fix your problem

Hope I helped

Hey Louva

I got a serious prob here.

When I try to load a mod in the latest version of FLEX I get a message from WinXP that the program encountered a prob and it shuts down.

I tried a fresh install of freelancer, Freelancer mod manager, Freelancer SDK and Freelancer Explorer but it's not working at all.

Please help me so I can continue work on my mod.

I use FLEX 2.0.6.22

PC:

Win XP Pro with SP2
AMD Athlon64 3000+
1024 Mb DDR 400
750 Gb of HD Space

Everyone, please use the reporting feature if you run into a crash problem. These reports contain a lot of technical information that can help us solve the problem. Also be sure to include an explanation of what you were doing when it happened.

If a non FLE mod is active when loading your mod, the names will be taken from
the dll of the active mod. Deactivating the mod in FLMM will make FLE extract
the names from the dll in your mod's folder. If this is not the case, check the
original Freelancer.INI file was completely restored when the last mod was
deactivated. If the modded Freelancer.INI file was not restored, there will be
7 dll entries in the (Resources) section, instead of 6, causing your mod dll to be number 8. The ids_name/info numbers in the mod ini files will be between 458753 and 524287 for dll number 7.

Please send the crash report created by FLE as advised by Louva-Deus.
The other option is to send me a copy of your mod so I can run FLE through the
debugger and pick up any errors while loading is taking place.

You MUST give support for people who have bad registry files! Please allow the user to input Freelancers directory!

I have two suggestions:

1. Make cylinder zones display properly. Not just a line, I want to know what area it actually covers.

2. A side-look window for all of your 3d positioning.

Post Sun Nov 13, 2005 3:03 pm

1) How are they not displayed properly?
2) Soon possibly

Post Mon Nov 14, 2005 1:51 am

1. Cylinder zones have two size values... with and lenght. FLE only displays it as a line using the lenght value. Very annoying.

2. Sounds good.

Well... if you gave them any width then your system would quickly become unreadable in the editor with fat patrols going all over.

hi, i have only one problem with this program. i cant get missions to work

i tried several approaches, different bases, factions, whatever i do, noone appears at the bar (the bartender does tho). i set up new persons, or load original npcs. whatever i do, i cant get a mission. i placed several mission areas. I dont know what exactly open, field and.. whatever means, but somehow i should be able to get this to work. if i go in game it tells me im not good enough (i am.. good enough.. trust me)
or that the faction does not like me (all factions like me..).

Now.. what could i do wrong? please.. this is the only problem that i have with this program. if i can get this out of the way i can make my own system working..
