Is this this only for mod makers, or is this also a patch, to improve the game itself? Sorry if this is a dumb question, im new to the game.

It was designed for mod makers but it functions as a patch as well.

Just one minor AI bug I caught in the latest SDK download...

In npcships.ini:

pilot = destroyer_default

Appears twice (in Bretonia destroyer and battleship entries), that pilot isn't defined in either pilots_population.ini or pilots_story.ini

I had hoped to point out some more but you guys caught all of the other's I found in the previous SDK I downloaded, good show

Don't knowif you caught this already for your next version (or if you're even going to fix little stuff like this) but there's an error in Br01.ini

Ok I Downloaded the SDK Files. But the WTS mod Still wont activate in the FLMM.
Anyone got any sugestions?

Try a clean re-install of the mod, FLMM, freelancer ...that should do it....also before that try to use the "delete save games" function in FLMM...some times that helps ....just a thought but if that doesn't work definately do a clean re-install of all teh above things it'll work then

The new 1.5 SDK is underway and I've already fixed a bunch of things thanks to Buck Danny's latest unofficial patch documentation. I've skipped a version number so people won't get confused over this and the unofficial patch, 1.5 of the unofficial patch will probably be based on this SDK version. Still looking for suggestions for a name change. Anyway..

I need everyones input on what bugs still exist from the 1.3 SDK so I can fix them in this version, this will hopefully be the final version necessary for the game. All feedback is appreciated.

Hi!
I know that this bug is already in the original game, but I think you maybe ant to fix it with the SDK 1.5.
Planet Gammu in the bottom Unknown system has a death zone, but without damage. You can fly near to it and your ship won't explode. If you hit the planet you simply get bumped away.
To fix this you can simply copy the missing entries from the death zone of Planet Primus.

I downloaded SDK 1.3 and tried to unzip the file. I got a message saying that PKUNZIP could not create freelancer...exe.

Do I need a better version of PKUNZIP?
Is there a password on the file?

Is there a version of SDK that is not zipped that I can get?

Appreciate the help.

I ran the FLScan available for download here, just after installing. I got 102 instances of references in the code to an illegal group "prisoners". Also one instance of a battleship referring to an illegal "id_gun" tag.

EDIT:
Alright, I just realized that's really not informative. Anyways, after painstakingly removing every illegal reference, there was no noticable change in the game.
In any case, more information on the errors. The prisoners problem, as it seems, is that there's a relic group from all four houses. Kusari prisoners, Rheinland prisoners, Bretonia prisoners, and Liberty prisoners. Maybe there was originally a faction for each of these, but apparently it's gone now.
The illegal id_gun tag was in one of the missions, apparently instead of the "ID_Gun = Capship_heavy" tag that the other, similar tags all had, this one had "ID_Gun=Capship_heavy_Benutnasch". I altered it to no apparent effect in the mission it referred to.

The beta version was sent out on the 5th and I'm still waiting for more feedback.
