Hey forbidden, do you have any Motherboard software that control temp? I had a similar problem once because the motherboard had a cut out when it or the CPU hit a certain temp. It was set way to low and kept cutting out when she got a little warm... Might be worth investagating.

hey, i normaly use the injector iv (most powerful one) which if i remember right in roman numrals is 4 and the V is 5. shouldnt the V which in the game is 4 be 5 then? i may have them mixed up though, so please correct me. anyhow, ya i do agree with you guys tho, but hey, look at it this way. it doesnt take power from the sheilds got to be glad about that. also just wondering, would it be posable to add some slider bars so that a player could set the manuverablity that he or she wanted along with the engine output? i also read some were on a form about adding roll also as manverablity, would that be posable also in the next update or version? sorry for asking and i know curiosuity killed the cat.

as somebody tells, some ship has too bad loadout. I think power source and engine. I think every ship must has power source able to supply cruise engine. Have you ever seen fly out GC with A wing? (Power source make 90 units of energy per second, but engine take 180. If she fly out from battle, she has not any energy. It has not chance...) I thing, they can use fusion injectors too. (whi not?)
Any ship has not engine or power source in infocard... Infocard isn't?

i think, ifits possible, that only cruise takes up wep energy, normaly flight dusnt, so it still gives you a challange when u leave cruise, cos numerous times i have left cruise on a mish into a battle, and because i need to fly, i can use weps, so maybe say that cruise will take up 3/4 or 4/5 of ur wep energy only, and when u leave cruise u still have sum power to fight against anything, but also ur engine isnt drainin it either so u can just manuver a little and let it recharge without having to stop dead forit to recharge (is the problem with sum engine + powerplant combos)

You know... you don't have to fire all of your guns at the same time, you can deselect some of them if you don't have the power to sustain firing all of them
I remember in the X-Wing (the first crummy ship I flew that had a weak default powerplant) when I ran out of power I didn't just SIT there and get shot. Move around. That's what your afterburners are for.

I just started playing this mod after a marathon five hour download on dial up. The main flaw I see is that when exploring the new systems during the SP camp. The game sets mission waypoints in the sun. Not very helpful... I do enjoy that the game is actually challenging now, and that i have to pick my fights now instead of just owning the pitiful AI by default. I am pleased to see a mod that takes more than an afternoon to fully explore. Excellent Job. Needing to make half a million credits to properly outfit my X-wing, while somewhat annoying adds the realism to the game that it was lacking in the origional release.

we then leave the planet .suddenly something force me to quit the game and jump to th windows.please help me.
