FL Rebalance 3.40 Comments, Bug reports and suggestions

hummmz it appears its not just stokes. theres afew stations that arnt giving me the ship dealer icon even tho in the info screen it gives me the ship details etc. even datastorm says they are there but wen i dock theres no ship dealer icon
i really wanted the black specter to oh i got past the sprague mission to i just used a standard freelancer ship an it worked just fine(after trying 4 other ships lol)

hi Md, really love your mod just one question: would it be possible to incorporate the other three ships of firebase's shippack 1.01 (thereas: x-10 basilisk, xj-376 black specter and xt-15 phantom), or are they already in as the other three are and i'm unable to find them? really would appreciate to see those crafts...

Michael... Mike... dearest of modders.
As a dearly devoted fan of Rebalance, hear my plea... PLEASE get rid of those horrid sound effect substitutes. Every time I upgrade (or rather, reinstall) your mod I find myself climbing walls over re-replacing those sound files, one by one, Delete->Rename... I suppose many fans tolerate it or simply don't care... but I do and it's driving me nuts.
Again... please!

Congrats on an excellent MOD....
I'm just upgrading my 3.30 server to 3.40, but i have a few questions
Can I use my old 3.3 user accounts at all on 3.4?
Are the difficultiy settings (bats) only proformed on the server?
I am runng the FLserver as a service, so hopefully when it crashes it will auto restart, however whenever it does crash the microsoft message appears and asks if I want to send the info to microsoft, (which i never do). is there any way to stop this, so the service will auto restart correctly?

I agree with anubis9727 re guidelines for engines/powerplants... and is it a bug that the starblazer you get at the beginning of the sp campaign does NOT experience a power drain from cruise speed? cause i went from no cruise speed drain in the starblazer to a dagger that is now draining power in cruise speed.
also I have been using poison massdrivers along with cluster ereaser missile pods for a while, I right now have 4 poisons, and 2 cluster eresers on my dagger, but the target lead icon for the poisons seems to be off... there are times where a ship is comming at me head on, not moving, and the rounds from the poison are out right missing the target.

ps: re DNA-Groove's sound comment, the only sound sofar that bothers me is the Mortal Kombat "Outstanding" whenever I level up

oh and I almost forgot, data storm is giving me wrong stats for the dagger at least.... the info card in the game has the equipment ratings for the dagger at 3/5 yet data storm is giving me 2/4 for equipment ratings... I am also posting this to the data storm forum cause I am not sure whether it would be the mod or the datastorm
but I will say again, over all, this is a great mod... yes even despite the problems I had with trying to run it with the sdk
there are 3 things that I don't like:
1: almost too many ships it is hard to figure out what is good and what isn't, and there are so many that datastorm isn't much help... is there a possibility of a bat file to choose which ship pack or packs to load rather than have absolutely all of them? at least for player access anyway.
2: the thresholds for money for leveling up (but this was a problem I had with unmodded freelancer as well so I don't think there si anything you can do about it)... I am finding that the loot tractored in during the story missions are sometimes enough to catapault me to the next mission
3: the fact that the docking animations seem to have been removed...
but these are 3 dislikes versus many many good points in the mod

DNA, there is a very simple way to restore the original sounds: Install FL, make a copy of the Data\Audio\Sounds folder(only the Sounds folder) to another loaction and copy it back to FL folder after u have installed the mod. I'll think of something better for the folowing versions... but i'm not going bak to original sounds anyway, especially for that level up sound.
[MMmonkey, you have to start new charcater for the new version, sry. old ones will proably wirk but will give wierd errors, and the Alaska Gate will only open if you start a new char.
Aethewulf, you're probably using a very slow or very fast gun or turret, try to match the speed of the guns in your loadut.
The dagger has 2 versions for the same ship(normal and XR) so that's why you get those errors with the specs.

SRY for you reynen but TFK did made those ships a long time ago, before Starfyre Studios was even founded. I got the original TFK ship pack and i can prove thatm it's got the date of his original posting. You jusy claimed his ship pack as yours and that was one of the reasons he quit modding. The EFA system was implemented first hand by TFK as well. It was heavily modified by me as the B5 models were so you have no credits nor rights here.
I didn't took anything from you or SStudios, and never accesed any of the Starfyre Studios forums or beta-testing teams. I did not need to do this cause my mod was always and will continue to be the best. We had our own ship makers(Augur and myself), our system makers and all the ideas and features in the Rebalance mod are belonging to our team and to to anybody else.
Please keep you own observations and complaints to your own forums and stop posting on mine anymore.
