It's a good thing I visit this thread every once in a while to find out what bugs are going on with the latest version I think for now at least I will stick with beta 6rf2.

FYI: beta 7 has no known bugs. I'm pretty sure the problem Glock had was a combination of a bug in beta 6 and something else that went wrong; the beta 6 bug by itself certainly wouldn't force an OS reformat.

Its nothing personal IG I just have a habit of holding off for a while when it comes to new versions of software. Let the bugs be found and hammered out etc. The only reason I have started this with FLMM though is the last few versions have had a lot more bugs than usual.

IG,
your copy of MenuOptions by Starfyre has a problem. FL cannot seem to run the resource.dll. it give a no mirror something error. Anyway FL runs throught the game but when you look at the Main menu there is no text written on that buttons.

Does this have anything to do with the fact the ini files in that mod are compressed using a slightly different cryption format than the normal bini one?

I just tried the MenuOptions mod, and it activates and runs fine for me. Could you give me more details? Does the mod activated properly in FLMM, without any error messages?

It loaded perfectly in FLMM, now when i activate FL it gives an error message of some sort of wrong mirror for resource.dll. Now when FL loaded up all the menu has no text in it. Anyway maybe i got a bad version of menuoptions when downloading your file.

That's certainly a possibility. Restore Backups, re-download that mod, and try again; if you still have problems, you might need to re-install Freelancer.

its confirmed i've got a bad download of flmm, sorry for the fuzz. Anyway menuoptions works great now, i have those strafe up and down thing, hehehe
