In response to luhan's problem, FLMM 1.2 is giving me the same problem. WTF is going on IGx? Is it supposed to do that test run error when it loads certain mods? (mainly serious sirus 9) 1.2 is really starting to bug me... you have got to fix this agitative little mod loading bug!!!

I didn't know anyone besides luhan was having that problem, and since luhan never responded to my question, I figured that he got it figure out.

Does that ini file (weapon_equip.ini) exist? Does it only happen to certain files? When you activate huge mods that change almost every ini file (ie Rebalance and Next Generation), do you get that error too?

Nothing about INI's... but it doesnt have a real pattern either... after awhile, it just randomly picks mods that make FLMM do the Test Run Crash, and I have no idea why it does this either....

IGx89,

i am trying to get the GAWM v2.00, and i am using FLMM v1.2...
when i unzipped teh mod after downloading it, it says that the GAWM was unzipped succesfully, and ready to be activated.
Then during startup of FLMM, it says that

"There was a problem while inspecting one of the mods in the \mods folder. Please read the log for more info",

so i do, and it says the GAWM was unable to load.

"Unable to load mod!
Error: tag 'description' not found in header
Reading mod script...
Parsing mod script...
Found mod: D:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\KopievanGAWM2"

how can the error specified above be fixed? Thanks in advance!

Why can't I download FLMM? When I click on it, it just cannot be found.

Trioxin: Unfortunately, unless you can find some pattern to those errors, I probably won't be able to help you. But, I will look over my code and see if I can figure anything out.

frictionboy: does that mod's script.xml file contain a description tag? Like:
<description>
blah blah blah
</description>

omicronishome: try it again, and if one link doesn't work, try the other. If they both don't work, then it's a problem at your end.

hey thanks IGx89, i opened up the xml file and found that one of the tags had a typo i fixed it, and opened FLMM and it loads fine! thanks

FLMM just totally died on me. It won't activate any mods and won't load any new mods. Any ideas on this?

Does it give any errors? Does it act like it's doing those things, but it really isn't?

Hi. I'd like to know HOW to do multiple sections with the sectionreplace tag. lemmie post what I got. I'm trying to alter the DATA\CHARACTERS\newcharacter.ini and I'd like to change 2 sections in it (FLMM says I can do multiple sections at a time). here's what I tried.

now do I have to make another sectionreplace tag for the faction changes or can it only handle one at a time?

Just make another data tag, and put that new section in there.

when u use some mods it say wrong user name and password y? i have the latest version of the mod manager

What says that, and when does it say that? FLMM doesn't have anything in it that would ask for a username and password.

most of the mods that i dl off of the net from this site...it doesn't load gets to the freelancer screen then says wrong user name and password for this server and then the game shuts down and i have to deactivate the mod and no i am not online my connection is disconnected
