This is a complete new version, written from scratch because of the immense amount of e-mails I received :-)

Just try out everything again, and ask questions here.
If you have any suggestions on what I should include, just feel free to tell me !

Theese things will never be included (so don't ask for it :-) :

o faster calculation (the calc-code for now did cost me the most time)

I guess that for Evolutions the Trade Calculator will remain pretty
much useless until the Faction based dynamic reputation filter is done.
All I get is Civilians as a trade item. (no rep check on them)
Can't you default it full good rep??

Hey ho(testing against an evo 1.28 patched background)

Aside from the comments I made in my last email. btw - only showing civilians/prices

I changed back to version 1 afterwards and ran it (v2.1.10). I expected to be able to compare the data to an earlier tool called FCC somewhere here.

anyway , straight off the bat the NY to NY prices were off.

sorry dude. We have a WTS server one of the guys is test on too - let u know how that goes.

Finally it had been the problem with Reputation.
I disabled the form control for reputation, but did not disable the check in the calculating routine. Now it should ignore it completely and calculate any commo - no matter the reou value.

The filter for faction based repus will take a while, as I redo the complete calculation interface - it will be a wizard in the upcoming version.

Hope that fix now works better - if not - I still need some REAL values from out of Freelancer itself. I dont have the time to fly the routes and verify them !

Hi Greate Tool,

i am playing Most Time the FL Mod IONCROSS TOTAL WAR an there we have some special sitiuation.

Personal i would like to see the Prices for Equipment too specialy due to that in TW the space capacity is important.

How difficult would it be to extend the list by Equipment prices?

A few quick bits of feedback on this. Overall, this is a highly useful tool.

+ Persistent initial values
It would be useful for the trade route calculator to read settings from a location such as the registry or a co-located TradeRouteCalculator.ini file. Specifically, if we could preserve money/cargo/source/destination, or at least the first 2, it would make fast use a little easier.

+ Startup time?
I would like faster startup, BUT I can see reasons not to. Obviously you would need to cache data somehow; your stored dataset would no doubt be custom; and then some people would forget to refresh when they need to.

+ Proliferating debug files
I have about 20 of these now. Would it be possible to have it use a standard TradeRouteCalculator.mjf each time?

+ feedback prompts and feedback itself
The feedback prompts get a little annoying after a while, but I'm not sure how this could be handled better. I've written specialty tools that are downloaded by hundreds of people (not FL stuff) and only rarely get feedback on how good it is or errors it has.
Perhaps a saved setting that turns off feedback prompting after some comment has been submitted?

+ Asgard mod: Maladan trades not showing
While playing with this against the Asgard 2.2 mod, I noticed that Maladan station's trades do not show up. However, they don't show up in-game for routes, either!
So this may be a "feature" not a bug - behavior identical to in-game trade route information that is available.
