Not a bug - just an info:
The program will not save any IDS greater than 458751 (ResID > 65535).

Hm..doesn't the way they calculate the ids prevent having more than 65535 resources in one dll ? (can't recall exactly how it is done) ..and 458751 would just be the max for that .dll.

Edit: Yes..458751 is the last of dll #6, 458752 is the first of dll #7.

Dixi, is there any way that you could make a dll version of your program, so that FLMM mod scripts can easily add/edit dll resources? If you can't or don't want to, that's fine; just that this way would be easier than having to do it all from scratch .

I'll be making an activex dll sometime during the next few days, if that's good enough.

i don't know much About changing info cards but if i place the correct number of the patriot and click get ids info i get the message automation error what is happening here

i am only atacking the people who want to kill me but what if they kill me first

Dixi, do you use the UpdateResource() API's? I'm guessing that, because you have to include a UNICODE dll for Win9x. I've "discovered" those API's, so I probably won't need you to make an activex dll for me .

I have dll string resource adding code (modified from code shsan sent me), so if all you want to do is add string resources, I'd be glad to send it to you

Hi,

I am convinced this utility has the power to boost my overall esteem of happiness, but - I don't know how to use it . In general, I have no problem to figure out how things work, but here I'm stuck right in the beginning.

I fear my question might trigger anger, sorrow or fatigue, but could someone psot some kind of ultrashot "how to use the IDs name / IDs info extractor / editor".

Let's say I would want to edit the info on pfff, for instance, Cardamine (or any convenient example). I will have to

1. start Dixi's IDs name / IDs info extractor / editor
2. Set the Game path
3. ... (from here on, I'm stuck)

Many thanks in advance to whoever helps me out. I'll name a planet after you
