why are players so obsessed by cargo trains?

cause you can make real money with such a large cargo ship

anyway i've tested the beta 4 mod on you server and did'nt have tractor or cargo probs.

Hi Reynen, love the new beta, the new random weapon drops are awesome...

I have got a pair of Dark Blossoms attached to my eagle, and am hosing everything in site

have noticed special shields being dropped, but not showing up in manifest, after tractoring... will have to go now, plan on giving this beta a 12 hour thrashing...

WOA, 10 torps? that's only 8 shots, lol

I hope ya moved the turret spot to the top of the rounded part, that was the only thing I hated about that ship.

I need helps with adding people to my station, the merchants work, there's just no body there, but Trent.

First impression = 0wnage, few things i noticed tho on my brief playtest:
1./ Mounted a gunboat turret on a Rhineland Cruiser and game crashed
2./ Rhinland cruiser seems to have Bretonian Gunboat info card
3./ in Go To and Dock modes the Rhineland Battleship makes wierd bouncing movements, difficult to explain but try it and youll see what i mean

Voltage:

Cargo train in my mod will only have 500 cargo. The drone has 400 right now, so there will not be that much of a change.

You should not have dark blossoms for the eagle. The dark blossoms are turrets, not guns. You should either have the wild fire or the bloodstone, I will fix this asap. Thanks for letting me know.

Yes the Valk is a powerhouse now. I tested it ALOT to make sure the new hardpoints work, which they do quite nicely.

It may only be 8 shots, but thats 500,000 a round. 6 rounds = 3,000,000 = 60 seconds to take out a station ALL the torps are located under the wings now.

Steam:

Gunboat turret is NOT suppose to go on the cruiser...I made it crash specficially so people would not abuse this.

ONLY use the appropriate turrets on the right ships. I didn't want people using gunboat turrets on a battleship and having infinite power so I made the game crash. I don't see any other way to stop the abuse. Believe me, I have thought of MANY ways to try and abuse the mod and I have put checks and balances in.

I will fix the rheinland cruiser info card.

I am aware of the bouncing movements. I am not sure how to fix this ATM.

Quick Question--
Shouldn't the Nomad weapons use no/very little energy and the armor/shields be weaker compared to the other class ships? In the reg version with good weapons the Nomads are easy to take out but difficult to fight b/c they travel in packs. They have no shields but awesome weapons that inflict massive damage. I was curious if you intended to contradict the way they were presented in the game or if it was an accident. Either way is fine with me, I like having the Nomad DB, its sweet...just curious about the energy usage...I liked having drop-only elite 0-energy nomad weapons...what do you think? Thus is the appeal of the Nomad..

I'm getting an error on the new upload:
Zip Library error (buffer error) Unable to extract a file from ReynenMod204 File possibly corrupt.
Downloaded it 3 times...what do you think?

Either i did something wrong, but i'm getting 2 issues, one i thought was fixed.

1.) in my liberty cruiser, i cant buy any cargo, i could tractor before, but now i cant buy any cargo, like comoditites...

2.) The ship dealer in newark station doesnt work for me, i go to him, the screen pops up and immediatly dissapears.

Did i do something wrong when i updated? Before i updated, i deleted beta 203, just so you know.

I was using that base as a test, no ships are sold there please see the readme. I will correct this and upload a new version.

I have been having some real problems with zip files. I will upload a new version again after I fix some issues.

As far as nomads go, I am revamping them and creating my own storyline. They have the most advanced technolgy, but they will not have inf power. That is just an gross unfairness. 10 seconds can be a matter of life or death in a battleship war, imaging if a Nomad DB never had to wait to recahrge, it would own any other ship out there, same with any other nomad ship.

You will notice on the description on the new loot drops that I am setting the stage for something really special in the upcoming future. That is why I have not added the new sectors yet. I am writing the storyline that I want to use.

Here's a brief teaser,

"They came of nowhere and laid waste to a nomad fleet like they were nothing. No one has seen such technology. They hate everyone, and kill everything they come across. They do not understand our language and we do not understand theirs. Rumors have spread of an massive invasion and of new secret sectors that no one has seen before along with a new race. Even the nomads seem nervous as our representatives have received word that they wish to talk about negotiations and treaties. Only time will tell what happens"

I am using Winace 2.0 to zip the files. I will try and reinstall that, maybe that is the problem.

All downloads have been disabled until I can find a solution to the corrupt file.
