You Guys, Please help me! PLEASE!

Stinger,

I turned them off when I installed Win98 because I didn't think I would ever need them. I know it supposed to save 5 of them but I only had 4:
1. 2002
2. 2000
3. 2000
4. 2000

I don't know why it did that... Is there another way to get FL to work again?

Then I'm afraid that would fall under the category of a "hard lesson learned." It did clearly say in many places back up your files. I know that doesn't help much...but gaming is what forced me to learn the hard way like this. Save, save, save your progress. That's probably why I do not seem to have that much problems anymore (because I'm VERY careful these days) and why I can offer up sound advice that work in most "default" instances. Because I've been burned myself a few times.

I think I should mention that the game is installed fine, but, where the game's saved files are (C:\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer) there is nothing and there should be a couple of folders and some files (not saved games) in there... could you send me the files you have in there?

You formatted your hdd and still can't get it to install?!?!? I'm very sorry, but that makes no sense either. The Freelancer CD you bought is not a CD-RW that can be overwritten. You're installing the game right out of the box and it won't load and work properly? There's some info you're leaving out...something critical.
