This sucks. All servers still down after an hour.

This totally blows! I HOPE I DID NOT LOSE VERYTHING I GAINED IN MP!!!

probally have to wait until someone in redmond reports for duty and notices after his morning cup of joe that the server is down. or blinking at him.

That blows even more. I planned on staying up all night to play. I drank a 4 shot Mocha Latte from Starbucks to stay up and play! Now I'm going to be floppin and twitchin all night wanting to play!

The forum gets busy now that the servers are down.

That's common Smudge ... check out Utopia. UtopiaTemple got plenty of hits once Utopia went down ... and it went down 4 times this age already! (Each age lasts about 3 months).

Something to do with DOS attacks.

This has to do with the global server, not with any individual multiplayer servers. Just because you can't get a server listing doesn't mean some magic signal zipped around the Internet and destroyed all your player files on every multiplayer server.

Americas Army had this exact same problem in the first week of it's release. Too many people needing to authenticate to a company's global server, and not enough server resources on that company's part. Eventually AA patched their game so people didn't have to connect to their servers to play, and I assume this isn't far off for FL.

In the mean time, hold tight and let's see what the morning brings.

FYI, many of Pacbell/SBC's routes are heavily congestied today, especially this Friday afternoon (PST). My company's T1 was down for a few hours today here in San Jose (totally SBC's fault) and many other companies in Silicon Valley have been affected by a huge outage or extreme service delays. Pacbell/SBC owns most of the actual digital lines coming into the West Coast, and their tech support backlog *might* be contributing in some way to this problem.

Hey Decker, I'm in San Jose and my T1 is fine.

Well ive just uninstalled the F****ing game to get a new account number thinking mine had been messed up some how,NOW i come on here and find out the damn servers are down lololololol.GREAT 1 THANKS! :-\
