Global Servers Are Moving

Yap global servers working fine here, but as ive got 1131, not 1196 cant play on any server

Well I can now play on Elite server!!
But I have noticed a difference between that and the server I used to use. The Xenos are MUCH more active. I can't go anywhere without being shot at by EVERYONE. Whats going on?

I was wondering why I can no longer connect to the TLR server. It shows I have visited it in the past but not it has a different build.

The server has been upgraded to the retail version.

Once I get my retail version and install it will the server still have my current stats or will I have to create a new character?

Elite will most likely be upgraded to Gold sometime this weekend. That gives us a little downtime to work out some connectivity issues, hammer out the sniffer toys, play with some really very cool extraction proggies, (build up some characters on the server to act as a quasi police presence) consult with other large server admins on ideas and strategies for the upcoming barrage of visitors we expect in about 2 weeks.

The Elite server was being slammed last night (which is good).

When elite goes gold it will be the second time I loose a character, can you guys transfer the characters to a temp. beta server that will stay up until the final release date? Otherwise multiplayer is going to become frustratingly pointless if I, and I would imagine many others, keep loosing their characters.

Ok. I've tried typing in "freelancer.exe -s131.107.83.10:2302" in my command line in the correct dir and it loads the game, but I just cannot figure out wher to go from ther...

I still cannot get into a game...

Do I need to install the Server Version?

no, that should open up the main menu of FL. Just click on the MutliPlayer button and you'll see the server in the next screen.
