This is the propostition of UA, i will get it on the site aventually.

1-laws to follow
a)Modding is allowed, if you mod to pk someone you will be banned, and KOS list
b)If to members from different clans dispute they either duel over it, or if they do not resolve differences any other way, they will be kicked out.

2-Grand Council
a)Is only leaders of the clans.and the leader can choose one person in the clan to be in with him, as an advisor to him.
b)the GC decide on other rules, but cannot change the 2 current laws. And the leader of alliance, me(Spaceflyer), votes only if there is a tie, or if i feel free to vote. The leader counts as 2 votes, and each clan gets one vote.
3-War/fighting
a) If there is a war, the alliance members only help other alliance members if they ask, or need it.
4-
a)if you do not follow laws, you get banned. and if you know where i can get a free forum, please let me know, i need one for the alliance.

I started something very similar on Browclops. The Clan Council meetings were fun, but others resented not being able to attend. I think that others should at least be able to attend the council meetings, if just to witness it and maybe have some input too.

The arguement against the Grand Council being Leaders only, is that the meetings are fun for the leaders, but of little value to others. In addition, open meetings allow for more input and make the members feel more like an important part of something. This could help get your clan members to be more involved and devoted to the cause of the alliance.

A way that you could set up a mass meeting is to go to a little used system, such as Edinberg. You could have the meeting on the system chat. Or you could do the debates on a forum.

That is just one side of it. There are advantages to exlusive attendance policies too.

I have no problem with any of this as long as spaceflyer doesnt get power hungry.



besides the fact that a UN-type organization would be better.



My idea for that would be like this.


Representitives from each clan involved go to a meeting or soemthing, discuss things like Server boundries.


Say clan A and clan B have a dispute over who should police server x. we resolve it peacefully by making a treaty of sorts so that clan a gets to police server x while clan b gets a server that clan a polices.


Also it would help resolve wars like the NEO situation.

Surely server police is up to the server host and admins?

For afterall they are hosting it for you don't forget.

Naturally if they give their consent for you to choose a clan by putting it through a Clan Assembly then fine.

But it is their choice first of all you must consult them.

Otherwise they may just take their server's away and then you are stuck.

I don't think Heretic is talking about the member clans as being server police. I am pretty sure he means the clan that patrols or claims a server to be their territory as far as the UA is concerned. It can be assumed that the admin has already given permision to set up clans on their servers, unless otherwise stated in the server rules. It is already implied when they open it up to the public.
