I'm sure you guys are proud of killing Vertigo, who was in a Patriot ( Han attacked him in an Eagle, great job dude, and you ran when I told you I was coming ).

You were the only ones "ambushing", fools. The funniest thing about all of this is that Han is the only one of you that actually shows his face on Elite anymore, so what's this about him "rejoining" you guys? I haven't seen you or Sputnik since you got crushed at Beta. Why don't you post this on a forum where people actually care? I don't know if anyone here needs to read through 5 pages of flame-bait.

In the name and interests of my squadron,
I want to remember both sides, that the 52nd and 101st consider Freeport 9 as a save haven for any non-hostile ships. We will not tolerate any acts of war close to the station, and we will take actions if the peace at freeport 9 is disrupted, especial, but not only, from terroristic or guerrilla attacks. keep the fighting out of places where the lives of our pilot maybe in danger from crossfire.

This include actions from both sides of this war. We will not make exceptions, neither for NEO nor for the OWL, and take actions to restore freetrade at freeport 9 if needed.

in other words, keep the fight clean, and do not interfer in duells or trading at freeport 9, we do not like if our duell partners get blown up from someone else in the middle of a fight, and we do not want to see stuff get blown away that was ment to go into our inventory.

ooc: Its a nice idea Cams, and its good to finally see some attempts at roleplay rather than freelancer becoming yet ANOTHER quake 3 frag zone... (alas poor jumpgate, such a promising premise... hijacked by Quake fanatics who just don't have the imagination for anything else after all those years of gibs and quad damage)

However, as you can tell from Tasiin's elegant response, some people just don't have the capacity to understand the difference between In Character, and Out of Character (you don't play NwN do you?).

As for NEO, hell guys why do you even play anymore? you can pretty much toast any player that you meet, no one else can ever get access to the more entertaining weapons as your hoover squads all jump the server the minute it resets, and your not even interested in the roleplay aspect of the game when its offered to you on a plate. Every time you start a fight it devolves into a flame fest on the boards as both sides whop out their wangs and start comparing sizes. I think its fair to say that your pretty much THE only real protaganists out their... and you don't even want to play the part.

Its a shame as it could have been a lot of fun. Instead Elite is doomed to join the millenia of other servers out their that have devolved into pointless Frag fests (i mean hell, you can't even play CTF... its just pure deathmatch... and Quake III Arena does that a LOT better).

Funny how everyone scrambles to accuse me of being a Quake 3 player when I say that, no, not really - I just think it's overdoing it insanely in a situation like this. You guys wanna roleplay? Great, you can have your fun.

And Phoenix, for god's sakes be quiet - we all know that you've been killed by NEO and you hate us and stuff, and no one really cares.

we've reached a new low. if i had any affiliation at all with the coding and production of Freelancer i would hastily commit suicide at my earliest convenience. I couldn't live with the shame of making a game that attracts such unintelligible piles of ****. i'd also like to invite "OWL" to rot in hell. nice name by the way. eat **** guys

Some things I want to say to Cams...
1: Congrats, you killed Vertigo. Someone who is new to the game, and was flying a patriot... Really something to brag about.

2: OWL : Cowards. Why? Because you people have to cower in the shadows. Unlike you (with Vertigo), NEO wouldn't go out of it's way to target some low-level enemy claners who are flying patriots, kill them over and over again, and then brag about it.

3: Liberate Elite from us? Unlike you, we make no claims of "owning" servers.

Anyone who does not enjoy being overly dramatic and long-winded ("Role Playing" in an action game is an idiot? And as far as "toasting everyone" goes, we aren't that horribly great that no one can touch us. As for the weapons, we resell all of them (Speaking of which, we have some Diamond Backs in stock, any takers?)... Oh, and I hate Quake.

Anyway, just to show that NEO can be fun like everyone else....

hehe, i find it funny OWL started this thread knowing there was going to be a response by NEO, and then NEO gets blamed for a flame. Just because OWL didn't come right out and say "WE SMOKED THOSE MOTHER FAWKERS HARD BIATCHES!!!" doesn't mean it wasn't the underlying meaning of the post. If you read the way he wrote it it's a self glorifying piece of work which tries to incite a flame war by NEO. And since the player from neo that was killed was in a light fighter, obviously a response was giong to happen. The only way to avoid a flame war is to post a two sided account of the events without the biased propaganda bull. Ie leave out your convictions and such because only your actions are concrete. So post numbers, and a account of what happened. That will keep this clean and let the readers of this thread draw conclusions for themselves, rather than writing a loaded post.

As for only Han showing up his face, well he refused to start over, and likes to play with you NEOs and your attempts to kill him, as for the others.. we restarted from level one tks to wardragon and tks to you, and im not going to identify myself, no tks i dont want to get another ban on elite just because you are buddies with the server admin, and no one will be blowing up his cover untill the time is right and all things are aligned, we choose when and where to fight and you will just have to wait.
About the noobie neo; was it unfair? yes, wars are unfair, and unfortunelly this is a war, it was supposed to be a friendly war (this is a game after all) but you guys took this so seriously that now we are just pushing you just to see how much lower you can get on this, and btw remember nailing sputnik to a base when he didnt had weapons tasiin?

So it's been established that you have nothing against killing insanely low-level people in light fighters? I don't really care about that, he wasn't in Liberty space so I guess it's alright (though insanely low, not to mention asinine) for you to have done so, but still... The way you bragged about it... It was like Han destroyed half of our "fleet" in one little fight.

Just wondering, but are you hiding in the shadows on purpose, to try and make us leery of people we don't know? You know, make us PK everyone around us for fear that they might be one of your clan mates? It won't happen. You are welcome to ambush us all you want, we honestly wouldn't expect anything else from warezing, newb killing, arrogant, oppresors... Besides, after one ambush you will be added to our list of hostile people, so it's not like it will happen very often.
