In your thread, you stated that Multi-Player is way too easy. But you described only the single player aspects of it and how easy they are. It is true that the challenges the game provides you are not really very difficult and soon get boring. But the point of Multi-Player is to play other players.
Now that you no longer need help from other players to take on the challenges the game provides, you need to start fighting other players. NPC's are nothing at all compared to a human player. Humans will give you the challenge you need, but sometimes you got to make them do it. Freelancer does not do a very good job instigating competition among players, which will probably cause it to have a very short life. Games like Counter-Strike, battlefield 1942, Jedi-something etc. etc, do a much better job. Like someone else said, tax, toll, pirate, etc. Basically, start playing mean and make people retaliate against you. Your challenge and fun will return.
