Mr. Blix

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

The fact that anyone can even think of landing on Pygar is a huge plot hole. Go find Pygar yourself and read it's description.

yeah but the npc can land everywhere at least not anymore but on pygar they did landed cause they got the artifact from there and we can't land there... that's just stupid

If memory serves Pygar is the planet with the virus thingy that kills people really fast. I can certanly understand how that could be a small problem. Maybe it wasn't always there though. Perhaps initially Pygar was perfectly fine and some sort of ancient defence mechanism was activated (or backfired) and manufactured the virus when the first people came. If that is the case then whomever was there first would have had some time to poke arond probably.

No Pygar doesn't have a virus, I think that's a planet in Omicron Gamma that the Corsairs scouted. Pygar has constant high velocity sandstorms making the surface uninhabitable.

Post Fri Aug 13, 2004 12:24 pm

Yeah, General Kor got it right. Pygar has sandstorms that reach speeds of up to 805 Km/h and last for several hundred years. Although I find it weird that if you click on it it says "Zoner's Planet".

EDIT: Oh yeah, and it's in Omicron Theta. You can easily see it when exiting the Omega-41 Jump Hole.

Right. Now I remember. That actually makes it even easier to explain. Sinclair managed to get lucky and land in between sandstorms. Consider the plot-hole closed. No need to thank me.

Anyone here think Sinclair has a chance in hell surviving in Omicron Theta in a Clydsdale? Oh, and its Jonner, not Donner (check audio folders in FL directory)

Just to go back a minute, I've found something interesting about Pygar. Check out the thread I've started about it (don't want to interrupt this one with comments and ideas on a different subject).

Back on topic, Mr. Blix is just a magic trick. His accomplice amits to being a listener and is just passing on a message. Nothing telepathic about it, more tele-pathetic if you ask me. --- VH16

Jonner and Blix, Donner and Blitzen.

More or less official description of Blix: "The Psi part of a Psi-listener team in Rheinland, Blix is largely mute (when he opens his mouth only a mad tangle of hundreds of voices and tones comes out), but communicates with Jonner via telepathy. He is tied to the darker forces that run throughout the universe. "
