The mysteries of Sirius

Ever wonder about all of the mysteries?
For example: Why the Dome Kavash lived on the planets that are closer to suns or why they didn't live on the planets of the colonies?
How t'hell do you get to omicron omega and how the order gets there?
WHAT happened in TEXAS in AS 521 when a jump gate blew up?
How did orilion know the nomads?
Why didn't we see the nomad sun-killer (in the original intro movie)?how the hispania got to omicron gamma and alpha if each one is in the edge?
Why the nomads didn't attack the human sleeper-ships in the first place when they came to sirius?
What happened to the dome-kavash?
Why trent didn't jump in the wormhole?
If the nomad home world was destroyed, how do you see them in the unknown sistems?
Why when you go to remote sistems, everywhere in the planets was a disaster (like ELYSOM_OMI' BETA)?
AND WHERE IS FREELANCER 2???????????????

*Edit* - this is the last time i am going to tell you about ALL CAPITALS IN SUBJECT HEADER. Soon i will start locking threads you make with all capitals until you GET THE POINT!!!!. Right now you have been told FOUR times, and are basically showing contempt for the rules of the website - which is NOT acceptable

Yes the original intro' movie made more sense to me.
The bloke from Pluto, who sets off to Sirius after the destruction of Earth's solar system to warn the settlers about the Nomads. I take it he was also in suspended animation for the journey, without a light speed capable ship, hence the reason why it has taken him so long to reach Sirius.

Okay, to go through the list:
1. They probably did live on the colonies' planets. You know how Liberty found jump gate technology? They found artifacts on Manhattan and Ageira built the gates.
2. Who knows? Orillion knows all these sneaky trick thingies.
3. The jump gate to kusari went through dark matter clouds, causing the jump gate to explode and destroyed the Battleship Dallas, along with a whole half of Texas and leaving huge radiation clouds.
4. Orillion didn't. I'm getting this from the old story, not sure if it applies, but, a general from the Alliance survived and formed the Order when nobody else would believe him.
5. The sun-killer was in the old story. They went against that because then they coulde have easily destroyed all of humankind and the Sirius Sector would have been destroyed by the time the game started. As for Gamma and Alpha, the Hispania was crippled. The people who became the Outcasts remained on the Hispania and it drifted to Alpha. The people who became the Corsairs took some of the landing shuttles and went to what is now Gamma.
6. The Nomads didn't know they had arrived until that Rheinland expedition found the Dom Kavash artifacts and were inhabited. Then they went to see Chancellor Niemann, inhabited him, he took over Schultsky, and he got blown up before he could get to President Jacobi.
7. The Dom Kavash seemingly left for another place.
8. What wormhole?
9. The home world was destroyed, but how do you know they all got sucked in? They're probably looking for vengeance.
10. Well, they're all surrounded by radiation clouds, so....
11. Search the forums, you'll find it...

LOL.
How many different spellings of Dom Kavosh are there! The weirdest one I ever seen was Dame Kavrash, which was....weird. Someone should look it up and find out how it's actually spelt....

Cowami:

"3. The jump gate to kusari went through dark matter clouds, causing the jump gate to explode and destroyed the Battleship Dallas, along with a whole half of Texas and leaving huge radiation clouds."

I'm slightly baffled here ... why would somebody build a jump gate in Texas that went NORTH, thereby bypassing all of Liberty? Liberty already had Colorado and New York, so why have your merchant and naval shipping move galactic south instead of north?? The economics of the idea just don't add up. (Not to mention that it makes the area a prime target for military aggression: think of all that prison labor, so vital to the Liberty economy, just wiped out, along with the links to Rheinland, in one maneuver. Ouch.)

I saw a more plausible explanation for the radioactivity in the Texas system in the thread entitled "Dallas Incident," (refer to the Spoilers forum) which explained the accident as having taken place at the 'Dallas Research Facility' of Ageira Technologies.

Any input?

1.why was ithaca reaserch station abandoned?

2.why alaska has no liberty patrols?

3.why do the mollys use angleto turrets when they have no allies and they are also enemies of the corsairs?

4.there are no bd patrols in tohoku even though they have a base there?

@MT, Liberty dumped almost all of their money into Texas's jump gates. They hadn't yet discovered the Colorado system. Texas, I think, was Liberty's second system. And I remember reading a rumor on the BS Mississippi saying that some woman's grandfather served onboard the Battleship Dallas (she also said something about everyone being flash-cooked). Not to mention, the Dallas Incident happened before any of the prison stations were built. The explosion was huge and created the California jump hole. To quote the bartender at the Mississippi, "That's when all the crime problems in Liberty started." Not to mention it only eradicated half of Texas.

Here's some of mine.

1:How do the stations fit so many ships in those tiny docking ports?
2:Why do the xenos hate everybody so much?
3:How did trent get in the life pod if FP7 was destroyed in about 2.5 seconds?
4:Why is the inside of the Dyson sphere an area photo of the San Francisco bay area?
5:How do Rhineland ships avoid exhaust-control tickets?
6:How come when taking off from Kyoto base, you can clearly see trent standing on the launch pad, watching his ship fly away?
7:how come the ships are so small on the planets, but seem so large once you take off?
8:Why is Kyoto base so much bigger on the inside?
9:Why don't the corsairs have a freighter?
10:why don't the militaries have VHF's when the civilians, and pirate do?
11:How can there be ONLY one bar, equipment dealer, and Commodity dealer on an entire PLANET?

1. The fighters and freighters were meant to fit.
2. The Xenos really only hate Kusari and Rheinland shipping. They think they are ripping off Libertarians by selling cheap machinery.
3. They did say "Man all battle stations!"
4. It is?! WTF!!!
5. Who's going to stop them? The Rheinland police?
6. What? He doesn't stand on the launch pad.
7. Because the scale is different. You're inside of a city when on a planet. Then you go outside. The scale has to change.
8. Because it is actually a city inside.
9. Because they just don't.
10. Do they really need one? Do they ever encounter Corsairs in Titans?
11. It isn't. You've only landed on one city in the planet. There is really only one launch pad.

@ittan_v

Ithaca Research Station was abandoned because of the accident that happened there with Libery. Van pelt tells you so on Benford Station.

Also you wonder why Mollys carry Angelito's when they are enemies with Corsairs?. In the first mission of the story line u work for the LSF but i bet u equip those Liberty Rogue Drails right? ^^

Post Thu Apr 15, 2004 9:40 pm

ithaca was abandoned... but why didnt guys like zoner take it up???

the zoners have the uncanny ability of going around taking over abandoned bases.

i dont load up with drails. i prefer vengence mk II.
