If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

That's the OLD intro. The plot changed between that and final release- in the version of the game you play, the Nomads DIDN'T destroy Sol.

The Sleeper ships appear to be using the SL standard long-range travel technology, the Jump Drive. Not quite as fast as a warp drive, but if I had to guess I'd say that it would be comparable to the Cruise Engines found in FL(or a bit faster, perhaps). Which would mean it took them quite a while to reach Sirius.

I will aid them when I can...if they give me a percentage of the salvage from whatever they frag along the way. But god help them if someone puts a bounty on THEIR heads, for I don't care who I hunt for, as long as their live capture(or untimely death) can get me enough credits to buy a decent sized mug of my favorite drink."- A Freelance Bounty Hunter.

Anub- damn, what IS the plural for that? Anubii? Anubises? Anubice?

If you've played StarLancer you'll notice that each ship had a "jump drive", which is what the sleeper ships probably used.

Later on in SL they had warp drives too(similar to jumpholes/gates, only self-projected and much shorter range), but the sleeper ships look like they're using the older jump drive technology.

It's funny to see how many people don't read the thread they reply to.
It's prolly somewhere in the unwritten TLR rules that whenever you see a post with the terms "Sol"and "Nomads" and "Blown up" combined you must forget to read the terms "Unoficcial Intro" "Not used in the official game" "Not true"and various terms.

Also the same counts for the terms "Eight Sleeperships"wich causes you to miss the part that says "Five sleeperships according to the official intro".

Earth was destroyed? By the Nomads? Wow, I never knew that. And there were 8 sleeperships? where are they then?

You see? It's a decease I tell ya.

Ok, seriously. Don't be daft you all and read before you reply!

Sorry, I know it doesn't help, but it's late and I'm getting realy annoyed by all those applying to the above stated semi-rant. This releaves some stress.

Edit: Damn spelling.

It's the sand in the clock wich stops the time... or was it... D'oh, I need to study harder on this time control thing.
