Actually the best ship is probably Frankenheimer's AeroKrate Express. The name sounds odd but it turns almost too fast, cruises so fast others don't notice it, outguns/outpowers anything, has more shields/nanobots than cruisers, and is only the size of a patriot. Never seen it you say? Well I said unnoticable (that might have something to do with the working cloak on it). You have to dig through the mods section and the read me first areas carefully to find it though, but it's worth it.
