"Best Ship" threads are forbidden here, due to the quantity of them in the past and the fact that no-one ever agrees. Do 60K missions in Rheinland until you can afford a Valkyrie. Then do 60K missions until you have about 700K. Then goto Planet Malta in Omicron Alpha and get a sabre. If you're not friendly with the Outcasts then goto Freeport 9 in Omicron Theta and get an Eagle.

Top 5 Ships: Titan, Sabre, Eagle, Dromedary, Hammerhead.
There really is no "best"

I suggest you go and explore {are you afraid!!}

there is many ways to explore Sairus:

get on your ship and fly around check where you can get from Rinhland systems ..

or simple explore Freelancer websites and read there about other systems/ships/weapens/bases/secrets that got in Sairus galaxy.

For the record Razor, it's Sirius, not Sairus

Banshee turns too slow for my taste. I prefer the Drake for killing VHFs. Or better yet, the Sabre.

@viper, drake is the bestest allrounder, bestest light fighter and heavy fighter killer, but have a little to less power to be a very good vhf-killer, so that y i'm choosing for the banshee as the ultimate vhf-killer, and the sabre is easy prey for an eagle
