T-Hawk Just a few things: I switch weapons groups, so projectile speeds irrelevant.
I'm never firing all seven guns at once, and since I kill shields so fast, energy conserved.
There is no Adv. Stunpulse Turret or I'd agree with that anyway; and no R. Revenge in MP.

NukeIt Dump the Rippers and everything else from Bretonia, you're much better off
with Adv. Scorpions. Don't really need to buy them, either, Xeno Startrackers drop them.

Frobozz, when NukeIt mentions Rippers then don't think 'watered-down Bretonian house version of the Outcast Dragoon kit'. NukeIt's Rippers do about 4k damage per hit, so be very, very careful around him.

P.S.: buying the Rippers in a Mule should be quite a feat in its own right ... When I went there in a 'cuda I got both wings shot off despite the class 5 shield (but the looted Energy Cannon provided moral compensation ).

Omicron Alpha can't be all that hard to get to...Just about everything that's a criminal in Liberty becomes neutral by mission 7(including the outcasts), so you'd pretty much have a free ride all the way in-at least if you went in through the tau-37 route. All you'd really need to do is bribe the bounty hunters, and I did that anyway so they wouldn't be bugging me while practicing on the Hovis racetrack.

And yes, I was talking about the Bretonia rippers...I wasn't aware that Adv. Scorpions did better damage, but I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised. I'll have to wait now to pick those up, because I've already started mission 6. The Barrager/Skyrail combo is good enough to take down the Rheinland fighters/Gunboats quickly, so it's good enough for now.
