Possible Retardation

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Just for the record, if our own Sol system had a little more mass, it would be a binary system with Jupiter as the secondary sun.
A lot more mass and it would be trinary, with Saturn being the third. Mind you, this would have left bugger all to form planets with.

unfortunately we we at the back of the line when the goods were handed out, so we are left with just one star.

however, if someone wants to drop a few self-replicating obelisks with a dimensional relativity of 1:4:9 onto jupiter, then i got dibs on the diamonds

But if you want reality, log off and walk out the door. But beware, its a warped and twisted world out there

Just my $0.02, but it could just be the cardamine talking.

our sol-system is a strange system, the most systems have gas-giants like jupiter very close to the sun with a strange round around it, it's never the as far all the time from their star/sun, so their cann't be other planets as well in that system...

that way there can't be managed live also in that planet, thus gas-giants have to big garavitation for us to live on... if their is live on, it must managed well with extreme heat and extreme cold, co'z the giant isn't as far from the sun/star all the time...

also neptune, the planet with the pools head to and head from the our sun, while others have the pools above and below... they think a comet kicked the planet from their normal axis

ps. i like discovery channel if their is something on over our universe
pps. i read also sh*t of this in newspapers...

I'm sorry guys, I always seem to forget about this strand, I have no idea why, cuz it's my only one. I'm happy to see how things have progressed, glad to see that my linkage was appreciated, and then my brain went flat after that. I think it may be safe to say that some of you, not ALL of you however, are smarter than I, and taking this more seriously, nay, zealously. Freelancer is a game, a game that parallels life (analyze it, and get back to me). Now I started this forum off on my retarded thoughts of solar stuff, but please, please, now that the idea of there being a whole other world out here, which is just out that door, investigate it more, and stretch the bounds of your imaginations of paralell dimensionality and turning Jupiter into diamonds and California into tea, I emplore you, eh... I forgot.... oh yeah.....

tell me how you feel FL is just like real life, or kinda close, or not close at all.

???!!!???!!!

am posting late on this - but think i read about the fuel somewhere?
Once an object is in motion, it will stay in motion unless acted upon by another force to stop it (over simplification of newtons law of motion) - Space - no resistance, once you start moving from a force - nothing will stop you, so why when you cut engines would you start to slow down? Also - you shouldn't need fuel much - get ya going and then bam - your on your way.....
Hot water cold water???? Surely the particle theory explains why...... energy transfer/ transform to other particles - unless its radiation energy - doesn't need particles then........ now what was the point of the thread. Oh yeah - see in every direction......gravity of the universe as postulated by einstein.....the universe could be spherical due to the gravity - where light is actully bent due to the massive distances and gravitatinal forces, soooo every direction IS equal - if you could use a big enough telescope and looked in the same direction for trillions of years - you could see the back of your own head....hmm - do i look as pretty from behind - or is my arse getting fat?
Now they are coming to take me back to the asylum again......RESTRAINTS NURSE!!!

It is probable to an infinite degree (NOT 100%, just 99.999r%) that those stars will either come together or fly apart over time. Most likely they will come together.

But probably it is going to take a long long time. Long enough to design a game and fly around in the creation for a few months. :p
