Possible Retardation
Engines: Ever take a good look at your trusty Starflier any time? Ever notice how it doesn't seem big enough to hold enough fuel to be able to power its cruise engines? Ever ran out of gas? I didn't think so, and if you have, maybe you should push harder when you're cleaning your ears with a Q-tip. No matter how much it might suck to run out of gas and have to pull off to the side of the trade lane, if the 1st law of thermodynamics was observed like under the Simpson household, having fuel would be minorly important.
Binary (and higher) star systems: Remember the first time you were pimpin' your kicked-up ride (Eagle) back from Freeport 9, and set a course for the Sigma-13 jump hole, and just let it cruise? Come back a minute later to find your bird messed up with 3 stars and no way out but boom? According to the 0th law of themodynamics, that shouldn't have happened. Setting gravity aside here, the 3 stars should have merged together because of their differing temperatures, and should have coalesced into one massive star. Or here's one, when you pop out into the Tau-37 system, and get blinded by the light, revved up like deuce.... nevermind... when you get in there and are blinded because there are two massive stars that are refracting the light in the ice fields. Well again, technically, those 2 stars shouldn't exist because they should have became one, or as what *can* happen, then exchange gasses with eachother, letting each live seperately, but since that didn't happen, that's not the case.
I think that's about it, but feel free to flame me as you wish. Keep in mind that I did this when I was bored, so I spent no more than... 15 minutes doing this.
