About the tunnel...
You're wrong, I've flown through it. I tried to put a waypoint on the far sun, but I ended up passing the waypoint before I got to the sun. But there it an end to the tunnel. It's at least 100k out, and it really sucks. All you di is bounce into the star and not get hurt. There's nothing out there. But you will notice that the Unknown fighters all come from the direction of the tunnel when flying out... *eerie music*
