top right corner of the Corsair Homeworld (Omicron Gamma?) , inside the nebula, there should be a lot of wrecks around it, which appear as little red crosses on your navmap, and watch out, there are some rather nasty enemies hanging around it, and in the system too, definately not something you want to do if your a low level, getting into the corsair homeworld in one piece is hard enough as it is

I believed this, and have just spent the last hour zooming around the top right corner of the system. There's nothing there, believe me, but radiation.

Thrust me, it's there. Just fly to sector F2 in Omicron Gamma. and you'll see the wrecks told you about. The Unknown Jumphole is very close near the wrecks.

You're right. I was looking in the wrong place. Another great looking system but is there anything to do in there apart from visit uncommunicative robots and monkeys and shoot up Nomads?

I also wonder if I should outfit my Titan with all-Nomad weaponry?

And about the other unkown system, nothing in it but a sun right. Damn its beatiful though, past the Edge Nebula too. (Edge Nebula is the long green nebula and the Corsair unkown system is inside.

I cant check right now (no FL @ work ) but i think thats all the systems there are.

Just incase tho, i take it you have found the other 'Unknown' system? Its the same set up as the omicron gamma one but in outcast space. I.e. its in the middle of the outcasts 'ship graveyard' - i think its on the right hand side of omicron alpha. Same as corsair one tho, you have to be close to see the jump hole. Unfortunately there is bugger all in it except packs of nomads, i wasted ages flying round to the other side of the sun and all the way back (getting wasted by the radiation) to find that out

By the way, during the days I didn't have freelancer yet, I heard there was this funnel sort of thing in one of these unknown systems, that just kept going on and on for eternity...

Which one is it in?

Or does it even really exist?

Well, I think what you mean is the Corsair Unknown sys, with Monkey + Robot planets.

It seems that the whole system is inside a tunnel. There is a Big white thing at onw end, and a wierd, dark, flat seeming texture at the other.

My theory on the tunnel sort of thing is if you hit universe map, your location is right ontop of the edge nebula, so perhaps since all the other eastern green nebulae are not like Omega-(Some number) Walker Nebulae and are just the outside arms of the nebula, the real nebula perhaps isn't really a nebula...The whole tunnel thing on the edges looks green, and the edge nebula is green!

I know the system your talking about that has the Funnel, There is nothing in the sytem from what I could see in term of enemys. It's the nicest looking system in the game also.

I did'nt go into the funnel. But I would be interested to know if anyone else has explorered the system in question, and the funnel thing!

i think the funnel unknown system is an anomaly in hyperspace where physics don't apply, thats why everythings so weird. i disagree that it is the most beutiful system TAU 37 IS!!
