I got the Eagle, it's way more better than Sabre--Trust me! As for the Sabre, you got to keep paying bribes and bribes for a good reputation for them!

Did anyone actually check the time it takes to make a full circle turn in either of the three, or if there's a difference in acceleration?
Hmm, something to try tonight, finally managed to kill enough Red Hessians to butter up the Corsairs, so now I'm green with all three VHF producers.

I've not gotten to this point in the game myself so I can't comment. But here is some interesting statistics for you.

Several people claim this is a "beaten past death" subject, yet there is 20 replies to it (not including mine). All of these replies state some kind of opinion or quantitative information other then simply posting "search the message board". 40% of the 20 replies were the same day as the original post. 55% were in the first 2 days of the original post. I'm not trying to be annoying in posting these stats but trying to demonstrate the in-effectiveness. If you don't want to propogate something, don't support it. Instead of posting ANY further information, simply post a short message that says ONLY "search the message board for similar topics". By also adding comment you propogate the continuation of the subject and make it seem like you really DO want to discuss this subject further. Even better, don't reply at all.

No no no you got it all wrong, the best way to get around the VHF problem is to slaughter Bounty hunters and where possible take out there supply depots. Did that after I finished the story line and now I'm at least neutral with everybody (good with Corsairs and Outcasts) minus the BHG of course.

Problem with that is that the bounty hunters are pretty much everywhere and are allied with most cops. I prefer to have three relatively local factions hostile than one that's everywhere. At least that way you can pick your fights and you don't constantly have to worry about getting attacked everywhere.

Personally, I think the Sabre looks like a psycho eggbeater, the Titan is kind of boring, and the Eagle has a scary "Lets see how many bladelike forward-swept wings we can put on this thing" look. The choice between them is essentially in your fighting style:

Titan: Patiently outlast the enemy until you finally get them in your forward firing arc. Pray that nobody can get behind you and stay there.

Sabre: You have 7 forward-firing guns. Kill them before they kill you! Go head-to-head with anybody but the Titan.

Eagle: Hit, run, dodge, circle around. Your turret fires forward, but only to the EXTREME left or right. Why go head-to-head with another VHF when you can fly circles around them?

After flying all 3, I have to say that the Eagle is my personal favorite.

yes. if you look at the stats the sabre and titan turn approx the same speed (slow). the eagle turns significantly quicker.

In SP mode it doesnt really matter.
In MP vs other humans you will have to be VERY good indeed (or they have to suck) to win in a sabre/titan vs the eagle.
