There is a way to hack the files BUT...it is almost impossible to hack and it would take FOREVER!

The jumpgate is locked. I don't even think its possible to activate it. Nothing in the Alaska system anyway except for a prison? station? something... I would like to see it though

you can buy sunslayer torp, nanobots, some guns, shield batt and stuff like that from an abandon station...I think...or was I mistaken. I remembered I get to repair my Anoobeast there...

FL Datastorm does not show anything at that station, for my SP game past the end of the story. It's called "Prison Station Mitchell". It also doesn't show up on any of the commodity trade screens. (For Datastorm, see the sticky here.)
