Wow, the uber-fighters really ARE uber!

While playing earlier today, bought a Sabre. Was the first 30+ fighter I've flown.

Geez, it was ridiculously overpowered. I loved it

What was surprising was the maneuverability. Seemed about as nimble as a Starflier, or other light fighter. Except of course, it packed overwhelming firepower, and could withstand attacks in the "easy" systems indefinitely.

I started fighting Mollys, and wanted to see how many ships in a wing I could blow up during the initial head-on pass

Yes I love the Saber! But it's no fun in some systems. I can almost sit around in reverse thrust having a turkey shoot with my shields just sort of flickering on the last bar on the right. Hilarious though.

Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a larger target selection.

Nimble? The Sabre? Well, I love this ship, but I got rid of it because it flies like pudding. The Titan is a lot more agile and the Eagle turns even faster

hmm... I had all three class 10 ships and I thought the Sabre was the most sluggish one. Oh well, nothing beats the agility of an Eagle.
The Sabre has the most useful turret, though.

Gimme the eagle any day. Less armour but more manoueverable and it looks so much better.

If you NEED that much armour... learn to fly!

I;d rather be able to avoid shots than take em.

Heh yeah, the Titan sure looks weird, but IMO the Sabre looks a lot worse. The Eagle is the most fun to fly ship.

I think it's great that there are 3 class 10 ships because everyone can pick their favourite.

So far I have tried all three...and I think I belong to the Eagle fans.....Not to mention that the Eagles are one of my favorite bands.....

Titan is nice...but butt ugly.

Saber is nice...but also butt ugly.

Eagle is nice...Looks the best...(IMHO) may not have the best armor of the 3....but who cares....I can sit in a lot of systems and get pelted....and not worry.

Got lvl 9 shields....Prolly be even better if I had the lvl 10 shields.

Well, the level 10 shields are so tough it really doesn't matter how much armor you have if you got at least medium flying skills

I tried all three ships, but my personal favourite is the Titan. Don't ask me why, but to me the Eagle looks too much like a bee and I don't like the looks of the Sabre at all.

They all suck compared to the Hammerhead IMO. Trade in your C10 ships for that thing and you'll never look back. It is fun to fly and and you aren't so uber that the game isn't a challenge anymore. But, lot to be said for the 360 degree turret of the Sabre. To bad it looks like ass. Hoik!

You are most probably right about the hammerhead. It's just that I fought long and hard for my nomad stuff (and the Titan, actually, because Corsairs hated me) so I don't want to give it away anymore

Then again, the idea of a Hammerhead with Sunslayers, Rippers and tons of level 9 stuff sure sounds tempting
