AndrwTrvrs, I actually played Wing Commanders 1 and 2 entirely without a joystick, and never thought anything less of them for it (was actually kinda disappointed when space sims got the point where you absolutely could not play it with just the keyboard, and forced you to get a joystick). Anyway, I'll be interested to see what you think of the old games. Talking to people here it seems a lot of us who started out with WC1 and 2 think those were the best games in the series, while those who started out with 3 and 4 think those were the best, and couldn't get into 1 and 2 at all.

The first time I ever saw a WC game was in Meijer when they had the 3DO set-up by the toy section. I had no idea what it was. I thought it was kinda gay at first because they had a giant talking cat that I initially mistook as an orangutan. Then my friend played it on PSX and I fell in love with it while we played for hours. Bought WCP the day it came out and loved that game. Didn't play WC4 until 3 months ago. haha.. I was a little behind.

I always chose Flint, Rachel seemed like she'd sleep around a lot, which it turnes out she does. I knew it!

I actually played WC4 first and that led me to WC3 and Prophecy sometime later. So I never got to play WC1 or 2, though I managed to get my hands on a copy of WC1 but it ran waaay to fast even with a program to slow it down.

Technically, Hobbes is a blonde too. And no, I don't think it'd count as bestiality exactly since he's anthropomorphosized. Now I'll shut up before I get myself in too much trouble.
