David Henry aka Harrier (R.I.P.)

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

My condolences go to Harriers family. I will pray for you at this most grievous time and may God help you through this trial of life. He will be missed very much by many of us here at TLR.

I didn't know you David, so there's really nothing I can say about you.

All that I can say is that I hope your family feels comfort in their time of greef, knowing that you're no longer suffering. My sympathy to your family and friends.

Some may believe that the greatest goal in life is a quest for wealth, power, influence, or possessions.

But the truth always is found to be much simpler.

Most of us can only really hope to be fondly remembered by our families, friends, co-workers, and in some cases our rivals.

David Henry, Harrier, was a special breed. To us in this community he was an Artist that amazed and inspired us all in his works. To us he was like Picasso, Mozart, and Shakespeare. Just like these great masters in there form, he too will continue to be fondly remembered and greater yet, continue to inspire people all around this world for years to come.

We will without any doubt miss you Harrier,
But you will not be forgotten.

I only knew harrier from the building stages of epsilon mod, I was running it on my server and got to know him pretty good and saw right off the bat he was a great guy. My heart goes out to his family and all his friends that were close to him. A guy that nice can only go one way, and thats up. Heaven is a better place now.
To his wife and children, ask for strength and you'll get it. your in my prayers.

I am devistated by this loss and my heart goes out to his family. I worked with Harrier a lot on his early mods and did most of his cmp work until HardCMP came out. He was always ready to help me with my work as well and was a good friend and we used many of his find ships in our mod with his permission.

Some people do not understand how one can become so close to someone on the internet. You can't meet them in person and can seldom talk to them across the wires. But I have found that internet friendships are in some ways the strongest of all.

I applaud this memorial in his name and hope that it will never be deleted. I, and all of us, will miss him.

Well, I knew Harrier only as a good modder from the Epsilon mod, not in any other way but still.. it's always sad when someone goes away...

Goodbye Harrier.

I didn't know you well, but from the few discussions we had it was clear to me that you were a gentle soul, a minder, a protector, and a mentor for those who were to come after you.

May you rest in the peace you so truly deserve. You'll be missed here.

Condolences to the family of course, words seldom capture the sense of empathy we share with loved ones of the fallen in these situations but please know that you are in our thoughts.

Harrier, wherever you are...

Good Luck Out There.

I never really met Harrier before but from the responses here i believe he must have been a very good man that has done much for others and that alone is reason enough for me to say that the respect and friendship he earned here will live on in our all hearts

It is sad to lose someone so great. And not only for the community but for every family member and every friend he had. May he rest in peace.
We will not forget you and the years you sacrified from your life to us and to the greatest community out here i know of.

This is all too sudden. I am shocked and saddened that we have lost a significant human being.
Let us keep his family in our hopes and prayers as they face the difficult times ahead.

It saddens me to hear of his passing. I have spent many pleasent hours flying ships of his design. My thoughts go out to his family. He will forever be remembered for his mod and his ships and his dedication to the Freelancer community.
